Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi (2019)

The story of the Indian national heroin, a symbol of resistance to the despotism of the British colonialists, the leader of the principality of Jhansi - Lakshmi Bay (birth name - Manikarnik). In 1857, a woman took an active part in the Sipai uprising against the brutal British policy: she led the defense of Jhansi against General Rose’s army and fought at the head of the cavalry detachment.
