The Nun (1966)

Suzanne Simonin describes in letters his life full of suffering. Still a young woman, she was sent to a monastery against her will. Suzanne's parents could not provide her with the dowry needed to marry a woman of her rank, and they decided that instead she should become a nun. And although the understanding abbess helps Susana to integrate into the daily life of the monastery, her desire for freedom from this does not diminish.
