Brendan Fry is a young Californian, not at all stupid and far from romantic, however, he cannot succeed in life. The most natural state for him is to be an outsider. His composure is disturbed when one day his former girlfriend Emily suddenly appears and immediately disappears mysteriously. After making sure that his feelings for Emily are still relevant, Brendan, with the help of his only friend Brian, begins a search for a girl who turns into a dangerous investigation.
