No Man's Land (2020)

Antoine is a Parisian civil engineer whose sister Anna was killed two years ago in a terrorist attack in Cairo. Like the whole family, Antoine still suffers from a sense of guilt and still can't believe what happened. His confusion is reinforced by a report he accidentally saw on TV about the Kurdish people's militia: in one of the frames, he sees a woman in which he seems to recognize his sister. But this is impossible, because Anna died in the truck explosion. In search of the truth, Antoine travels to Syria, where he joins a group of Kurdish fighters who fight hard and desperately for freedom. Along with them, Antoine is in the occupied territories, among terrorists, spies, anarchists and innocent victims.
