The Auschwitz Report (2021)
Two young Slovak Jews, Freddie and Walter, were sent to the Auschwitz extermination camp in 1942. On April 10, 1944, after careful planning and with the help of other prisoners, they still managed to escape. While the rest remain courageous, without giving in to the Nazi officers, the two men hope that the evidence of the events they have can save lives. Tired and exhausted, they make their way through the mountains back to Slovakia, cross the border and meet with representatives of the Red Cross and give them a detailed account of the genocide in the camp. But what they said is so terrible that people can't believe it and don't want to publish the report.
