Athena (2022)

The events take place in the French suburbs, where chaos begins in the area called Athena, which has devastating consequences.

Private Abdel (Dali Benssalah), who recently returned from a hot spot, informs his family and friends about the death of his younger brother, who was killed by the police. Abdel convinces everyone that the authorities are already investigating and will punish those responsible for the tragedy, but his second brother Karim (Sami Slimane) decides to do justice himself. He, along with caring like-minded people, according to a pre-planned plan, steals a gun safe from the local police station and starts street riots. The active resistance of the citizens turns the city streets into a war zone, and a real fight for the truth begins between the brothers.

A grieving Abdel, despite his pain, follows the rules and wants to get legal justice, while Karim plans to burn down the entire town if necessary. Meanwhile, their third brother, a drug dealer named Moktar (Ossini Embarek), fears for his criminal business.
