The Boys in the Boat (2023)

Many American families fell into poverty during the Great Depression. The main characters are boys whose families were left without a livelihood. Trying not to get bogged down in the bleak daily realities, they found salvation in team rowing. For each of them, this sport became not only an opportunity to break into the people, but also gave them a roof over their heads and food. The team is not very competitive, as it consists mostly of athletes without any experience, but these guys somehow manage to defeat their opponents.
