Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024)

The events of the first film take place in Oklahoma, where the daughter of the famous ghost hunter Egon Spangler (Harold Ramis), Kelly (Carrie Coon), moves. After being evicted from her home for non-payment, Kelly, along with her son Trevor (Finn Wolfhard) and daughter Phoebe (Mckenna Grace), move into her late father's ranch, located in the small town of Summerville. There, Phoebe and Trevor learn the whole truth about their grandfather and what he did when he was alive. They decide to continue his work and try to deal with dangerous ghosts, and also prevent the apocalypse. In the second part, the main characters decide to leave Summerville and go to where it all began - to the iconic fire station in New York, which was once the headquarters Ghostbusters. When a mysterious and evil force awakens in New York at the height of summer, the city instantly freezes. The main characters have to combine all their efforts to save the world from mortal danger and prevent the second ice age, which will plunge the Earth into eternal cold.
