The story of the uneasy and extraordinary fate of cartoonist John Callahan. Having earned alcohol dependence and lifelong paralysis as a result of the accident, the 21-year-old Callahan takes up paper and a pen. He hardly prints drawings, which turn into scandalous cartoons and are printed in leading magazines of America.
