Hürkus (2018)

In the center of the story is a real historical figure, a participant in the national liberation war and the hero of Turkey Veciha Hurkush, the creator of the first Turkish civilian aircraft Vecihi k-14. Having created this aircraft, Wedji was faced with incredible difficulties in his country to obtain a certificate and permission to fly. It was the thirties and in his state the government had absolutely no interest in the development of aviation. However, Hürkush does not give up and opens the first in Turkey aviation school, where already with his students continues to work on the invention of new models.
