Donbass (2018)

At some point in the east of Ukraine, a popular uprising began. People decided that they were tired of obeying the authorities and it was time for change. This film is based on the video materials of Sergei Loznitsa. Here you can see how the soldiers and ordinary people live in the conditions of the frontline part. Residents of this part of the country are fighting for their own interests and everyone believes them to be true. The opinions of different people were divided and in some cases it led to the destruction of family ties. Is there a chance to restore the lost relationship and will the warring people find a common language among themselves?
