Ayka (2018)

It is difficult to imagine a tragedy more terrible than a young man full of life energy, chained to a wheelchair. They must enjoy the charms of life, make acquaintance or build romantic relationships, and do not spend the days empty, waiting for the moment when the Lord will save them from the pain of further existence. This is how Michael spent his time, a 24-year-old resident of one of the city's clinics.

When cerebral palsy completely deprived him of his ability to move independently, the young man seemed to have lost himself. He was no longer able to rejoice and perceived what was happening only as a punishment that struck him. Here he gets acquainted with the new inhabitant of the hospital Rory. This guy is radically different from other comrades in misfortune.

His indefatigable enthusiasm, it seems impossible to extinguish anything. And the stronger the fate beats him, the more energetic he becomes. Gradually capturing Michael in his extraordinary tricks, he again gives him a forgotten feeling of happiness. Together they are able to overcome any misfortunes. And even if it's too early to talk about victory, they at least found the strength to give a persistent battle to circumstances.
