The plot of the film is based on real events. The action takes place in Los Angeles in the eighties. The main characters are a group of young people who have received the best education in finance and they intend to apply their genius in full. However, to achieve wealth, they will be ready to go beyond the law. Young people create a special club with special privileges for people from different social strata, but for everyone there are rules, impressive membership fees. Thanks to the clever system of manipulations, the financial pyramid began to grow, as well as the income of its creators. But such actions could not but draw the attention of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In addition to everything, among deceived contributors there are elements of organized crime.
