Nico, 1988 (2017)

A film about the last year of life of the legendary Nico. The singer and musician, who is almost 50 years old, leads a solitary life in Manchester. This is not the life that she led in the 60s, when she was a model of amazing beauty, the muse of Warhol and the vocalist of the cult band The Velvet Underground. Now she does not care either appearance or career, but the new manager Richard persuades Nico to go on a tour of Europe. At the same time, Nico is establishing relations with her son, whose trust she has long lost. The unique, uncompromising Nico regains her composure as a musician, as a mother, and as a woman.
