Walk to Vegas (2018)

The film "Walk to Vegas" is based on a true story. It will play a lot of people who know firsthand what the gambling world of Las Vegas is. The basis of the script of the picture is one bet, which was concluded in the last century between several players from Nevada.

Director Eric Balfour in his debut work decided to attract a fairly large number of poker professionals: Jennifer Tilly, Phil Laak, Antonio Esfandiari, Mike Sexton. The film itself has nothing to do with poker.

Van Patten and Steve Alper wrote the script for the film. Patten decided to try himself in the lead role. His hero, nicknamed "The Duke", must walk about 250 miles in a white suit across the deserts of Nevada. The price of the bet is one million dollars. The entire film is made in the style of the 70s of the last century.

For “Walk to Vegas”, only the trailer is released, the picture itself should appear before the end of the year. In general, it will be a sitcom, and the poker players involved in it will represent different sides of the betting, interested in its opposite outcomes.

Such a large representation in the “Walk to Vegas” poker players is due to the fact that Van Patten worked at one time as tournament director for the WPT series.
