Battalion 609 (2019)

The action of the series takes place in 1999, when Yugoslavia is at the peak of its collapse. The Russian command decides to seize a strategically important object - the airport of Pristina, in order to prevent the transfer of weapons and equipment to Kosovo militants. The situation is complicated by the fact that there are no weapons, the airspace is closed, and the nearest Russian battalion is almost 10 hours walk. The only one who can help get weapons is intelligence officer Andrei, who had previously been introduced into the army of Kosovo. Before the hero of the series “Battalion” there is a dilemma: to help compatriots or to defend the honor of the girlfriend who is being abducted by the Roma at the same time.
