The former banker rents a country house in Wales with his young wife and young daughter. Family holidays are disturbed by abnormal events around the mansion and the dark secrets of the heroes themselves. Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfred in a psychological thriller by Secret Window director David Kepp and producer Jason Bloom (Obsession, Get Out, Glass). The film is based on the bestseller of the same name by Daniel Kelman.

- Mom, why does everyone hate dad? - Six-year-old Ella asks Suzanne, a beautiful actress and the wife of the famous banker Theo Conroy. His first wife died in mysterious circumstances, drowning in his own bathroom and the suspicion of murder fell on Theo. The court believed in his innocence, but not in public. Theo now leads a quiet retirement life, trying to cope with psychological problems and jealousy of fellow actors Suzanne. However, things only get worse during a family holiday in Wales. Theo senses an alien presence in the rented mansion and observes inexplicable phenomena: for example, the perimeter of the building is smaller outside than inside. In his sleep and in reality, Theo is tormented by nightmares, somehow related to his past, about which he does not say much even to those closest to him.
