The Outsider (2018)

The film takes place in 1954 in Japan. Nick Lowell is an American soldier who was captured after the Second World War. He clearly fulfilled the task and did not make it heroic, but one day he managed to save Kiyoshi's life, who was sentenced to hanging. In gratitude for the rescue, this man tried to do his best to help Nick go free. Kiyoshi was not as simple as it seemed at first glance, and it turned out he belongs to the Japanese yakuza mafia. The Siromatsu family is grateful to Nick for saving him, so he offers him a job.
