Beacon 23 (2023)

The action takes place in the 23rd century, in the farthest corner of the Milky Way. The plot centers on government special agent Aster Kalix (Lena Headey) and former military man Halan Kai Nelson (Stefan James), whose destinies are intertwined. The heroes find themselves trapped on a space station, which serves as a beacon and ensures the safe passage of ships. Such beacons allow spacecraft to travel through the Milky Way at speeds several times the speed of light. Each lighthouse is managed by a highly trained keeper and specialized artificial intelligence. After Aster's unexpected arrival, Halan wonders: is she friend or foe?
