Rampage (2018)

The protagonist of the film, primatologist Davis Okoyi, has long been saved from the death of a male gorilla and has named George. Since then, they have become the best friends, but one day George has become a victim of a genetic experiment and has begun to grow in size at lightning speed. Soon, the huge gorilla, along with a wolf who went through exactly the same experiment, began to destroy cities in North America and Davis sought an antidote to save not only millions of lives, but George's life.
