The Island (2023)

The protagonist once lived on one of the Caribbean islands, but has long left those places for Los Angeles, where he works at the police station. One day, Mark receives news from home about his brother's death. Then the man decides to go to the island to say goodbye to a loved one. Returning, the hero sees his mother, heartbroken, and vows to take revenge on the one who killed his brother. He learns that Manuel is involved in this, whose power, thanks to money and corrupt officials, has spread throughout the island. He deals in drugs and is not afraid to break the law for his own interests. Mark, meeting a local policeman, soon realizes he can't be helped, so he takes the investigation into his own hands. In addition, the man confronts his own past by meeting his ex-wife, who lives on the island.
